new install opensuse 11.1 but errors occured
I have a toshiba notebook satellite p205, I installed a new 500GB hard drive, loaded opensuse 11.1 .. now I have errors, tried the rescue option but compounded the errors, now I would like to erase the drive and do a fresh load without any previous settings or preferences .. how do I erase the drive .. for some reason the k3b software is not recognizing my dvdrw drive but it is there and works fine .. so I cannot burn a liveCD .. I do have an 8GB flashdrive,
Can you point me to a How TO or a roadmap process with instructions and commands to get me on my way ...
